When Maria is not working on helping families reach their financial goals, she is very focused on her own family. She is married to Joe and is the mother to Isabella, Joey & Dominic. They keep her very busy with their extracurricular activities and she chooses to be very active with their school, serving as the acting Parent Teacher Committee President.

Maria also enjoys charitable work and is currently the treasurer for the Guiding Star Foundation. Their mission is to provide uninsured or underinsured disabled individuals the opportunity to maximize their function, independence and not allow their disability to define their lives.
